Meet Patrick Flood

Patrick Flood brings a background in investments, international relocation, and market analysis to his work with buyers and sellers throughout the Charleston area.

Before entering real estate, Patrick spent more than 12 years working in financial services, including mergers and acquisitions, equity research, and business development within the fintech industry. He is also a CFA charterholder.

After living in Brazil for a decade, Patrick and his wife made the decision to relocate back to the United States. Like many of his clients, he experienced firsthand the challenges that come with moving to a new city, evaluating neighborhoods, understanding local markets, and building a life in an unfamiliar place. Their search ultimately led them to Charleston, where they were drawn to the city's unique combination of history, walkability, culture, and quality of life.

Today, Patrick primarily works with relocating professionals, first-time homebuyers, retirees, investors, and international buyers. Having relocated multiple times himself, Patrick understands the practical and financial challenges that come with moving to an unfamiliar market and building a life in a new city.

Fluent in Portuguese and experienced living abroad, Patrick is especially well positioned to assist Brazilian and Portuguese-speaking clients who are considering a move to Charleston or investing in the region.

When he's not working with clients, Patrick enjoys reading, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, traveling with his wife, experimenting in the kitchen, and continuing his lifelong interest in financial markets and investing.
