Before finding “home” in South Carolina where she has resided for the past 25 years, Rebecca lived around the world - Montana, Wyoming, Washington, California, Florida, Texas, and Germany. She earned her JD at the USC School of Law, practiced law until 2018, and served as Guardian ad Litem for vulnerable adults. Practice in these areas led her serendipitously to a real estate career where she feels comfortable guiding buyers and sellers in all of the intricacies and nuances of each unique property. Another passion of Rebecca’s is home renovation, and this pursuit adds to her genuine interest and enthusiasm in finding and showing properties to clients until they each find that perfect home.
When Rebecca isn’t enjoying her time working with clients, she is working in her gardens with a focus on native plants and environmental sustainability practices. With help from her husband Byron and their son Putnam, she is enthusiastically converting her new yard into a native plant cornerstone for wildlife. In addition to Putnam, Rebecca’s and Byron’s family is rounded out with two daughters, one son-in-law, and two grandchildren in North Carolina and Maryland. She continues to enjoy travelling, especially hiking in the mountains where she takes pleasure in observing the native flora and fauna.
What began as a happenstance meeting, at a foreclosure property, became a lengthy property search and, after many months, discovery and the successful purchase of exactly the home I was looking for..... Rebecca has the unique ability of ferreting out what is important to the buyer and matching this to marketplace offerings. It was a truly enjoyable, fun and positive experience, every step along the way; and, the ensuing realtor/client bond has cemented a lifelong friendship. I would recommend Rebecca, highly.
