    Forest Acres and Surrounding Area Real Estate

    Just minutes from downtown Columbia but with its own small-town feel, Forest Acres offers primarily ranch style homes beneath an impressive tree canopy.     Jackson Heights

    Jackson Heights is a popular Forest Acres neighborhood near Trenholm Plaza that is distinguished by its streets named after SC colleges and its popular Citadel Park. Zoned for Satchel Ford Elementary, Jackson Heights features a variety of ranch, bungalow, and two story homes. Prices range from the low $300,000s upwards to $600,000.

    Quinine Hill, Millpond, and Senators Park

    Tucked away off bustling Forest Drive is a quaint gated community made up of the Quinine Hill, Millpond, and Senators Park neighborhoods. Charming small streets-some cobblestone-wind throughout the community and lead to private pools, a community pond, and close knit neighbors.


    Greenbriar, slightly to the west of Jackson Heights offers an array of larger homes, many on estate size lots. Prices range from $500,000 and up.

    Arcadia Lakes

    Originally a rural area, the picturesque “Town of Arcadia Lakes” is located near Forest Acres. Today it is a bustling suburban community with the motto “Seven Lakes – One Town.” As its own municipality, Arcadia Lakes has its own mayor and town council. Arcadia Lakes is zoned for Richland School District 2.
