The Downtown Center has options for living on Main Street in condos over storefronts such as Capitol Places. Main Street is home to Mast General and the well-established Nickelodeon Theatre. The beautiful, highly traditional Heathwood neighborhood in central Columbia was annexed into the city in 1925 with some homes listed on the Register of Historic Places. Just minutes from downtown and new shopping developments like Crosshill Market, featuring Whole Foods, the Hamptons is a large tiered community that features a half dozen neighborhoods.
